My friend died yesterday... I've known him for 34 years.
He was 48 years old, he leaves behind a wife and 2 small children.
He had been in ICU for 5 1/2 weeks with pnemonia and community acquired MRSA lung infection. He fought really hard, but ....he died...
OMG ! he died... I'm still waiting for it to sink in. It's horrific.
There are a million thoughts going through my head..your friends aren't supposed to die... He's supposed to watch his children grow up...He's suposed to walk his daughter down the aisle someday...He's supposed to grow old with the love of his life...He's supposed to be sitting by the campfire ..He's supposed to be playing his music... He's supposed to be here with his never fading smile..
All I can do now is preserve all of my memories for his children someday.
And keep him alive in our hearts...
He died ..??

Jen I'm so sad for you. You do know what to do for his children though. Let them know all the fun quirky things you and him did during all those years. You will have memories that no one else does and his kids need to know what a great guy their Dad always was. They'll appreciate those stories as they get older.

Make him some beautiful flowers for his garden to heaven.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

When I was watching Joel Oelsteen (SP) on T.V. this morning, his message is dont dwel on what happen but look forward on the new chapter that will unfold with your life, his family life. He said, life is a bunch of piece of puzzles. when One is in place, a new piece is discovered. God choose him to be withhim today, and one day you will see why.

Hugs
Luc
