When I left Tf website for my strider website, I made it clear to them that i did not want on of their store front links on my listing in Findaflorist. They could leave me listed but just with my phone number.
I checked digently for the last 2 months to be sure they were complying with my request. Never was there a store front buy now on my listing, until today that is...those bastards, up it goes on Sat before V-day , now I am sure i will get the run around starting Monday for about 4-5 days.

Check your listing and if you allow that store front, you will be receiving those orders from TF.com and at their prices.
Jut when you think your already for the holiday somebody screws you up.

Sorry for the rant but I'm pissed and I thought you might want to look at yours. Joan

The TF "Storefront" website is what drove me to finding FC in the first place. I never had a TF website to begin with because I told them I did not want one. Then one day I found our shop with a "storefront BS site and bout lost what's left of my mind" I called twice to demand its removal, the first time, they simply said NO. The second time, I was much calmer and told them my lawyer would be contacting them. It was gone in two days. Get it removed before they take orders intended for your store and route them to who-ever! That is truly low and they must be get'n desperate

If I'm not mistaken, TF keeps sites up for any member that leaves the service... I'll have to do some checking.

It does surprise me that they would put one up for a continuing member, but I digress, not much of a surprise.

For how many years Boss? It's been a long time since I had a TF website, but I left TF for the final time over a year ago.

I do know that for TF members that don't have a website TF does put up a "visit my store" button. I would think that it goes through to TF.com and that the shop may get the order as a wire-in order. Does anyone know how that works?

Findaflorist?
What's that?!
Is that the site they NEVER promote and you have to squint to see the find a florist link on TF.con site?!
LOL
Seriously though, does anybody even know that directory exists?

With that being said , I had them remove my store front right away after I dropped TF site, I had no problem getting it removed. Let them know Asap, and call them everyday until it's gone.

We used to have a TF website.

They created a storefront directing orderers to the Visit our Store & it went to whomever after we quit. It took many, many , many months of calling & calling to get the thing finally shut dow.\n.

And then it periodically re-appears....and then I go ballistic.

Findaflor does come up under organic searches from time to time, often on the first page. They just did a major overhaul on the look if it. I would'nt rule it out as a site no one will find. Sure they make it hard to find on thier website and probably promote it less during Holidays, but it is still out there and it looks better than it did a few months ago.

As many of you know it was Eric Shaw Everyday Flowers Tustin CA, that asked for the Storefront Site to be removed, it was not.
He tested his free StoreFront site to see if he would get the order, he sent the order to himself at the shop address. Guess what it went to a competitor.

When I got out this past year, my attorney sent the letter requesting that any and all associations between my shop name and TF be removed from the internet etc.

They never acknowledged the letter, but did remove the references to our shop name.

I also, sent copies by fax to every department within TF, except the bathrooms! It accomplished what I wanted it to, when I received a fax back saying they had accidentally rec'd my letter in X dept. and it needed to go to X dept. In other words I got confirmation from a TF person that they had in fact seen my letter. I had of course already sent it to the correct dept. certifed mail with return receipt.

FTD on the other hand, did exactly what your saying after I left them. They attached themselves and their url (website) to my search results.
It took me almost two years to get all traces of them gone. It would go away, but reappear at holidays. FTD said they didn't know how it was happening, that I was the only one that could have put it on myself. How stupid is that! Google was no help either.

Everyone claim your listings!!!!You have to go into edit your listings and see which listing has the TF or FTD link if there is more than one, and delete that listing. Make sure you have another one set up.

I never had a bit of a problem having the vanilla "storefront" removed - it happened n about an hour after my request.

I've never seen one since.

It must be my haircut.
