My name is Jennifer Shields. My fiance, Donald and I own a smaller full service floral and gift store in Stockton CA. We bought it with no idea what we were getting into. It was kind of a baptism by fire! We have had some good times, more hard times. The shop does need some improvements. But looking back the almost 6 years that we have been operating the business, I'd say we have a lot to be proud of. We have deffinatley brought the business a long way! All roads have bumps, and some you just can't avoid. You just male the needed adjustments and keep going. That's all we can do! I'd like to think that where I stand to gain so much advice and knowledge from my fellow professional florists using this forum, I will ba able to bring some ideas of my own to the table and maybe help out someone else in return!
