Hello, I am new here and a friend of mine said this is a great place to vent and learn. I opened my first store last july and am coming on my 1 year anniversary.
I have been meaning to REALLY get involved on FC and been procratinating and now in my time of need "Wrdlady47" refered me and is helping me in time of crisis with Teleflora.
I have been in business almost 1 year, I have been designing for ten years, I was an apprentice to a wonderful florist in Westfield NJ for a few years and taught me everything she knew, and now I am seeking the advice of wrdlady and all of you to help better myself and my business...
I have a lot of weddings and parties booked for this summer and my town and surrounding areas are really taking a liking to me and my designs, I am excited for a wonderful and prosperous future, but being a new business owner I have been hitting A LOT OF ROAD BLOCKS. I am hoping belonging to your community will give me the support I need to survive, and I hope the knowledge I have (be it only 10years) may help others also.
SIDE NOTE: I am freaking out, have had nothing but problems with Teleflora since the I signed with them. I don't have many friends in the industry so I am hoping to find a few friends to lean on for support, and I am a good listener too so I hope to return the favor. Thank you all!!!
