hello to all who read this.

my name is forgetmenot and im a home based florist i do very strange and wonderfull designs i enjoy all things flowers and would love to be here to share ideas and help people in need of answers im very good with wire work so ask any. thank you for reading this yours forgetmenot :redface2:

Hi Forgetmenot (nice flower but I really like people's names). Please tell us more about your business. Do you have a cooler? Do you pay business tax? Did you go to school to learn floristry?

hi victoria

well i work from home so i only have a ecomoical plug in cooler with 2 shelves but would like to up grade soon, i do my tax returns once a year (which i hate but then again who likes doing them lol) im in the last year of doing my ANCF level 3 and have worked with a friend of mine in her flower shop for two years and just last year i wanted to do it on my own so i have started at home (no real over heads like shop rent lol) thank you for your reply xx
 
Do you have plans to move into an actual retail space or are you intending to stay as you are.

My question above wasn't about personal taxes, do you pay business tax and do you have a business license?

i think we do this a bit different from other places like you dont need a business license in the uk. i do hope to move in to a shop but at the moment i enjoy filling orders at home and can still look after my son and care for his needs. im hoping to enter a few comps this year like the nottingham at the end of the year and hope to wim a place so i can put it up in my shop (when i get one) the trouble is that in nottingham there are so meny flower shops and flower stalls you have to find the right place.
