I became interested in event planning when I had to plan weddings three years in a row for my own children. Then others asked for my help and has now expanded to a very active and rewarding enterprise. I try to limit wedding flowers to 3 a year, but also do arrangments for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.

Happy to have found this resource! I've picked up tips from local seminars, but have no formal training.

No, no storefront or cooler. Just a very creative approach to flower handling. I once air conditioned half my basement to 40 degrees for a large wedding. Not the perfect answer, but it worked as a short term solution.

Is this the name of the flower shop you run from home? I have many friends that work out of their homes but they all have training not only in design but in the handeling of the product what chemicals to use....there is a lot that goes in to this not to mention the legal side such as wedding contracts...be careful.Good luck :boggles:
