Help Flowerchat . . . .

google ads...... Ryan can't live on free boards?
I don't even look at them now...
But if you "upgrade" your FlowerChat experience, you'll lose the ads (thank me later, Ryan)

Doesn't bother me . . .

Doesnt bother me in the slightest, we all have to make a living :)

I just wondered if it was worth clicking once a day (for those of us too cheap to pay for the upgrade).

I didnt even notice the ads 'til you pointed them out. They are just the flotsam and jetsam of the internet.

You're too funny :)

For the record we're having a bang-up month with AdSense: our November revenue is $10.26.

The internet marketer in me always wants to be testing, so we change things up from time to time. Currently there are 3 scenarios:

  1. Not logged in / Not registered: You see AdSense
  2. Logged in free account: You see paid ads and selected affiliate offers
  3. Logged in premier account: You see no ads
We may change up the pricing / scenarios for the premier accounts in the future, but time will tell. (And all current premier accounts will retain the same or better level of service.)

We are trying to solicit more floral-specific ad placements. I don't want to go down the road used by the SAF's Industry Supply Guide which involves inflated traffic numbers and high-cost outsourced telemarketing, so we have invested in email campaigns to wholesalers / service providers, but it's too soon to guage response.

Back to Glenn's original question: When we announced the testing of AdSense ads, I did specifically ask that people not click on the OGs out of spite. That's fraud, and we don't play that way here :)

Cheers,

Ryan
