Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

THINK PINK!!!!!!!!!

Favor to ask, it only takes a second....

The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammograms in exchange for advertising.

Help the cause....Breast cancer can affect any one of us, or our families on any given day.

This thought (of how we might help someone by long distance) never occurred to me until after Queen's post last night.
After her post, I went to this website and clicked. Then I went to our website , and changed the home page.
I also set up an email blast to hit the street on 10-20 & 10-27-08.

It took about 15 minutes of my time.

I would encourage all FC members to do something similar.

What a wonderful way to make the beauty of our group and flowers contribute to SOMETHING POSITIVE in today's world.

Hopefully, it will help to change someone's life.
