Help! Tulip Wedding in 2 hours...

I have made all my tulip (HO) bouquets yesterday and of course they have grown which I like. But my question is - the binding point of the bouquet is about 3" below the tulip head (this is the look the bride wants) and not up tight under the tulip head - as the day progresses, will the tulips flop over or will they continue to stay straight?

The lower the binding point, the less control. They will likely 'flop' or curve, especially due to the body heat from being carried in the hand.

Thanks Cathy. I was feeling insecure about the binding point so I took very thin green cloth-covered wire and created a hidden binding point under the ruscus collar. Whew! Thanks for chiming in. A lesson well learned that I will not forget!
