My customer wants to send sympathy flowers to The UK. The city (I think!) is Slough Buckinghamshire. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Patty

You can call the UK direct... google the town - or ask Victoria or Paula (palms) they are both in the UK.

Are you a member of any wire service? If not you'll have to do a CC by phone.. but I bet it will save you money!

Yes.. I just looked it up - Buckinghamshire is like the county or province.. Slough is the town.. to type "florist Slough, Buckinghamshire" There are many that come up..

And the good thing about it is.. in the UK they speak English.. so.. no translation needed! Except for me.. I can't understand - I just ask them to talk slow...

Thanks, Tammie. My customer decided not to send flowers from here, but to have their UK office handle it. I would have suggested that, but didn't know they have a UK office!
I can't seem to delete the thread! Aarrgghh. Techno-impaired. Sorry.

Well that seems like a no brainer... why didn't they do that first?

Hi Patty, just seen the thread so i know you are sorted but if you ever get stuck again for the UK, let me know and i can try to find a decent florist for you. I am a few hours away from slough so would not be my area but i could give you ideas of what to order etc... and what you should expect for your money.

We turned to FlowerChat last year when we needed orders delivered in the UK and Teleflora was quoting super high minimums ($100 wasn't enough for a basket of goodies according to Teleflora).

Thanks to Flower Chat friends, I now have a network of UK shops I turn to whenever I need something delivered in England. If they can't help, they refer me to someone who can. I keep a currency conversion table handy and e-mail my orders instead of using RETRANS. Not as easy as processing through RETRANS, but if it keeps my customer of 30 years happy, I'll put in the time.
