Does anyone have a formula for figuring out how many roses will be needed for rose petals lining an aisle? My bride wants just the edges done....Thanks!

Depends on the coverage. I usually figure 1 rose per square foot for scattered petals. For really thick petals I figure 4 roses per square foot.

You should buy a bundle of the roses your planning to use and test them yourself. Different roses have different petal counts.

My wholesaler sells me petals in a bag, which I use to cover one side edge of an aisle pretty well. I've asked, they estimate about 75 heads of roses in one bag. So two edges of an aisle for me is about 150 roses, standard aisle, about 10 rows of chairs.
