Help with board issue?

Here's the problem I have with this board. Maybe it's just me and the way I use it.
I click New Posts, a bunch come up. I read one or two, get busy phone rings or something do a delivery go to the bathroom I dunno. Come back, click again, and the board I guess assumes I read all the new posts, and they don't show in the list of new ones any more.

I miss a lot of action because of this. And I loves action.

anyone else notice this? you have to read all the new posts at one sitting cuz they won't appear in the list next time you click it, unless someone has added to them.

Yes, I have had this happen here before. Other boards as well. Could be my mullet though...

Your session times out after 15 - 20 minutes (can't remember which). The way I avoid this is to always leave the screen on the New Posts display. That way, even if you time out, you still have the list of new posts.

You can also use your Back button to jump back to the previous list of New Posts.

If you use the new entry page at www.flowerchat.com/vbindex.php there is a link for Today's Posts as well as New Posts.
