I have a bride... aw yes, a bride who reads too much or watches waaay too much television. She keeps changing her mind because she "saw" something "really cool".

This last "really cool" thing is a cylinder vase with three roses suspended at 3 in intervals underwater.

Any suggestions as to how to achieve this without using gel (haven't got time to get that in)?

It's driving me to drink... :hammer:

By the way, I thank you for any assistance you provide. :)

I would try monofiliment nylon fish line, it's invisable underwater.....use a large darning needle and go through the calex.......then use a clear plastic suction cup (the kind you can get at the $$ store to hang suncathers) remove the hook and tie your line to that.......that should work and be almost invisable as well.

Yet another reason to LOVE this place! John, all I needed was the idea of the suction cup. Thank you soooo much. I have the fishing line, the needle etc... the difficulty came when the dam n bottom rose wouldn't sink (even with those little fishing line weight things). Now, thanks to you the solution is at hand. :)

I will sleep tonight... and I will reserve the right to restrict the bride's reading and viewing material!

Thanks again.
