I'm new to this site. I'm just starting out and I'm so confused. Everyone in wholesale, cc service and wire service say they are the best but as I do some checking I get a different story . :hammer: Can anyone help me.
Thank You
Andrea

Andrea, It's the same as in any business - everyone will tell you that they have the best product, service, ideas .... you have to decide for yourself if what you are risking will be rewarded by making your business stronger.

Do you have any florist friends that you can network with, to find suppliers that are reliable? Maybe they can recommend CC processors that are worthwhile as well.

As far as the WS - look around here, you'll see a lot of varying opinioins from businesses that make them work, and those who won't have any part of the WS. There is also info on CC processors if you search that term - top third of the page, in the long blueish bar is a "search" area. Type in your terms and look around.

good luck,
tracy

My opinion

CC Services - very competive and mostly the same just do NOT repeat NOT agree to a long term contract. Go month to month so you can jetteson the company if necessary. I would go with a mid size company with a good reputation read some blogs.

Wire services - a.k.a. the evil empires. Having used all three of the majors. 1800 has been the best. You won't get rich using them but their not liars and theves like FTD and especially TF. I, as have many others, can tell you of nightmare situations with Teleflora. FTD is what is it is and they make bad mistakes too. In any case don't trust any of them and use extreme caution.

Wholesalers may vary by region. The bigger ones tend to be better.

With all of the hyp that you're getting from those folks, please allow me to add a word of caution. Do not tie yourself to any wire service by purchasing equipment, such as a Point of Sale system from any of them. There are other, independent POS which will allow you to move from wire service to wire service if you decide to become a member of a WS. MAS, FAS, to name only two.

Connie's advice is very sage advice......for the time being, UNTIL you find out whom your least worst enemies/competitors ARE, stick with short term commitments to everything, and stick with the largest suppliers, until you establish your credit, and credibility

Welcome Andrea!
You have come to right place for great advise!!!
