My name is Kerry I owne the Cactus Flower House In
Edmonton, AB. I have been in the industry for 20 years (Started REally Young) and have owned this store for about 10 years now and whooooooo hooooo I get a new store in 2 years time MY design (HELP). My children are regular fixtures in the flower shop as they are 4 years old and 8. Nice to meet all of you, and i look forward to making some new freinds. However I am not great on these computer things I'd rather like the human voice. If a don't respond right away is because well I'm not a computer junky........

Hi from the UK,just chill and have fun,lots of nice people on here,when you get the urge to vent"go for it",you've 20years worth of experience to share,don't worry about the techy stuff just jab those keys....
 
Welcome ... I love the fact you take the children into the shop. I bring my girls to the office and they love it ... spend hours playing switchboard operators between offices!

Hi from Airdrie

Hi Kerrie, I'm in Airdrie and like you my two children have grown up in this store. My oldest is 6 years and we had her in a crib in the back of the store and was around us until she was a year and a half. My youngest is 3 and a half and he went to the dayhome when he was three months old, a total different kid from the first. Can't say I want to do that again though, having a baby and then being back at work the following day for we have no staff. We've been in this business for 7 years but also have been in this business 10 years prior. My husband is a retired teacher and we manage this show by ourselves other then holidays where my best friend comes in to help us. I'll be sure to use you next time I have a order for we aren't FTD anymore, can't say I miss that headache. Holland House Flowers
