I somehow got on someone's mailing list...I don't know how, but here's the good news:

Hitomi Gilliam AIFD is coming to do a seminar in AKRON,. Ohio this Sunday, May 20!!

Seminar will be held at Canton Wholesale in North Canton, Ohio.

Registration begins at 9 am Design programs at 10 and 1 pm, with lunch at noon.

The title of the seminar is "Tropical Style" and is presented by the TF Ohio Buckeye Unit. Cost is affordable. ($25 to $35.00 ea) You can register by calling:

Since we do not often get to experience this quality designer in our end of the world, I urge all shops in the driving distance to attend. I'm told she does a fantastic program, and is truly a fun, great lady!

Hi:
Unfortunately, I had to rescue my nephew who is staying with us this summer from an "adventure" in Fayette County late last night. (He went to Ohiopyle with friends and we have a non-functioning car that we are dealing with now).

It has meant that my plans for today got all screwed up. I am very sorry that I am not in Akron, where I planned to be today. So, instead, I'm trying to get caught back up a little, and get prepared for next week/ weekend, which is going to be a bear for us wedding-wise.
