I am a retail florist with multi stores. I have been in business for 13 years. I have not had any formal education but i am self tought. I was inducted into AIFD in 2007. I don't know much about flower chat but I know the industry very well from all aspects. I rent a location in a commercial building. As far as what I will gain from membership, I don't yet know. I hope that I don't get frustrated as I am very passionate about our industry and I believe that anytime someone orders flowers and has a good experience reguardless if it is and order gatherer or retail florist experience, I am happy. At least people are consuming flowers and keeping our industry alive. Remember people, this is the 21st Century! Internet is not going anywhere.
