Hello everyone! I'm excited to have learned about the FlowerChat Community and am looking forward to getting to know some of you. I found out about it from Clay Atchison III, one of the world-class florists retailing our product.

My name is Jessica Ackerson, and I invented and patented a fun product for roses. The Hollywood Bloom Spiral & Charm is a pre-formed silver spiral that wraps around a rose and dangles a sterling silver-plated charm. The spiral extends the display time of the rose while allowing it to dry in the vase and the charm serves as a memorable keepsake. We have charms for every occassion, and they're all lead-free and made in the USA!

We launched nationally in December, and so far this product has been very well received by both florists and their customers. Please check out my website for more information and online ordering (www.hollywoodbloom.com).

Again, I'm looking forward to getting involved in the FlowerChat Community.

Thanks,
Jessica Ackerson

Got to say that these rose charms were a great add on seller for us at Valentines.....even got orders for them on our Website. Got some good buzz from them and next year the Valentine "media" roses that I normally send out will have some on them included.

Loved these at SAF. Wanted to start carrying them for V-Day, but too many other things going on. Hoping to have them for Mother's Day.

Glad to see you here Jessica

Jessica,
Your charms worked out great for my very special client for Valentines Day. They were easy to use and you really went the extra mile for me.

To fill in the rest of the FCers, I had a client who wanted an arrangement with 2 dozen red and a dozen white. The client wanted to attach a locket to each white rose. He had planned a scavenger hunt for his sweetie and each locket was to contain instructions on where to find another gift. It was a really cute idea and I immediatly thought of Jessica. I gave her a call and she special ordered lockets to go on the spirals.

Thanks for finding the lockets Jessica. It couldn't have worked out better.

At SAF, there was a beautiful full moon over the mountains, and I went out to take some photos. On my way back, I passed by the new products room which had been set up and was being cleaned. Of course, I scoped it out, and I saw these on the rose for the next morning. I grabbed a rose and went slinking back to our room to show Kathy. I cam bursting in, and there she was holding the roses you and Rio passed out, wanting to show me the same thing. Hilarious.

Looks like a great idea to me!
Hey, forget TF's Favorite Mom promo, start your own with those #1 MOM charms, I think they will be a great seller for Mother's Day!

Clay, if you don't mind me asking, what did you charge for the add on charms at Vday? Glad to hear they sold well for you!
If you key stone it, I would be $5 and some change, I believe,..... I charged $6.95. When I had asked Jessica on what others are selling them for, I believe she said a lot were selling them at $5.95 SRP, but some were at $6.95 and one was at $8.95. I might lower mine to $5.95 during the summer at the same time I sell roses at a June special.
