In just a bit over three weeks I get to pick up my daughter at Toronto Airport (YIIIPPPPPEEEE!!!. As she'll be arriving late on July 18th, I'm trying to find a decent hotel, in the airport vicinity that isn't going to break me. Any suggestions from fellow travellers or Toronto FC'rs. So far I've investigated the Travelodge and the Econolodge. Thanks so much.

I know Luc & Audra use the Travelodge.

I've used both the Holiday Inn's near the airport, and both are nice and affordable.

ROTFLMAO!!! Tracie, to revive you, I'd have to throw a pail of water on you! That's too funny.

They were there for the gift show, in separate rooms (I think). ;)

Thanks Ryan. I'm leaning towards the Travelodge. I'll call them today. She gets in so late, that location is appealing.

I actually get a better rate with CAA than corp... go figure. I would love to come for a visit too. I'm working during the day of the 18th and will head in to TO after 4:30. I should avoid most of the rush hour traffic as I'm heading into the city. :)

By the way, today is Alana's third day on the Inca Trail (no shower.... yetch). I'm so looking forward to hearing about this part of the journey.

Kettle's boiling... time for tea. Enjoy the day.

Oh Those memories of me and Audra at the Travelodge.....

THere is a Quality Inn also on Islington right off 401 that have a decent rate. You may want to check it out. It is very easy to go from there to the Airport and may save you a few dollars.

Back to the memories.....

When you find out, let me know. ;) Actually this last time was the first time that we actually picked our hotel. The last time we just picked a few choices on the Gift Show form and crossed our fingers.

When Dan and I are in Toronto, we've started at the Travelodge and at the Delta. The Delta costs a whole lot more but is very nice, the Travelodge is very convenient being central to the Gift Show and most our of suppliers.

And it's not that expensive all things considered. Has a lot of nice restaurants around it and it's easy as heck to find.
