I have used Google Analytics for years. With Analytics I can see how users find my site. I could never tell how the one’s that bought from my site arrived. That has changed with my new Strider site. I have set up a custom segment in the advanced segment section. It’s a great free tool to have. I tried the same tool with my FTD site but couldn’t get in to work. I think it may have to do with the checkout page. Anybody else using it? Great information.

I am enjoying it too, along with Get Clicky which Ryan also hooked me up with a while ago...I love spying on people who visit my website :) It tells me the source of the hit, exactly what pages they clicked on, how long, when, and where they are from, cool stuff :musical:

A lot more accurate than the tracking I had with my old TF site...

David, your website is coming along nice! Good job & congrats again!

More than the IP address?

Get Clicky (Spy Click)

yes, I get the ip address, the location, operating system (windows or mac), web browser (internet explorer-safari-etc), resolution, and of course referrer- I see exactly what they typed in search engines...how long they visited my site, the time, the pages they viewed...I'm sure you can do even more but I am using the free version.

Since we created our own site, I was able to shop around for a host that had a good stats package. Our hosts use SmarterStats, plus I have download access to the raw logs which I can work with as I please.

I have a strider site, can someone give me directions of how i can get my stats from the back office pls?? I am learning to get around it but not that good yet!

Palms,

We'll post some instructions in the F20 Support forum.

Ryan
