How do you design a wall hanging?

Chicken wire is your friend! Depending on the size wanted, I would most likely get a sturdy wood frame and then use the cut-out oasis that is attached to styrofoam. Soak it, then wrap chicken wire around front AND back ~ I mean around the frame too ~ so that it is secure. Then paint the whole thing, in the picture you show, probably white. THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY HEAVY, a little finishing nail isn't going to cut it so if this is supposed to go in a venue, better make sure there is a good, sturdy source for hanging ~ wall sconce?

Lots of labor and expensive materials, I would price it at no less than $500 depending upon size, takes lots of flowers too.

I would beg to do this in silk. It would be way too heavy otherwise and is a disaster waiting to happen.

That's what I'm thinking. Or a mix of high quality silk hydrangeas & fresh carns in sheet foam. (They are somewhat flexible on the types of flowers.)

Especially if you are doing it for a business, they would be able to use it in the future. It's very beautiful.
