Something similar happened to us with TF after leaving them..
We're a small town, had two shops, the other was TF, when she decided to get out eff. Jan 31, 2006, the rep called and begged me to join. I told her no thanks they had a shop in our town why would I want to join. That's when she told me that shop was closing June 06' and they'd have no coverage here. I reluctantly agreed. It was 5 months later when the other shop closed, that someone brought me real paper proof that all the TF orders for our town had been forwarded to the closed shops "other locataion" 25 miles from our town.
TF screwed us to the tune of many thousands of dollars (prob. 10,000 or more). I have often wondered what the other owner had on someone that they would do that. Clearly illegal and immoral...and clearly they have the ability to do whatever they want to with orders behind the scenes. We never got much from TF and left as soon as possible. It wasn't until I sent my Letter that I ever met the rep. She had the nerve to walk in my shop and ask me to make her a sample arrangement. I told her where she could go with that request since I was no longer a member. By the way we don't get complaints, so it was just harrassment for leaving them. Geez, the nerve!
Another reason to not trust those people!
