FTD has a send receive policy....you must send 1 order for every 5 your receive...if you do not meet that, they take 4% more of your gross.

Now i know most shops are complainers and takers...they dont send, they just wait there and say gimme, gimme...but did you realize you were being charged an additional 4% reciprocity for not meeting the requirement

Yup - reciprocity fees go back as far as I can remember. That's not far for some here, but it's at least 10-15 yrs.

They don't take it from my business. I have an agreement with them. If that agreement is breached, I say good-bye... again.

I think I paid the reciprocity fee for less than a few months in 25 years. Told them it was useless for a very small town shop.
Was with them for 33 years....done with them last year

Yes,I did know that. I complained at the time and the fee has been waived. I had been open maybe 5 months and had noticed the fee and contested it. Pretty hard for a new shop to be expected to do that right away.

Than they tried to charge me a fee for not sending out with FTD and using another wire service. I said well that's pretty interesting since I don't have any other services. So that fee mystriously disappeared.

I'm slowly whitling down everything and hopefully will be done with them very soon.

YEAH! Like JOE Said!

Wee too, have an agreement with the WSs just like Joe said!

Our agreement is very pithy and succinct!

We PAY YOU NOTHING because, YOU DOO US NOTHING!

Which is why, we joined IFA for only $20 per month, and only when we send our out-of-town orders out. Otherwise, IT'S FREE!

END OF THAT STORY! lol

TF and Bloomnet do it as well.

So you did read the contract or not read it when you signed up?
