How polite would you be?

Just got one of the most asinine requests from a Ontario flower shop , looking for me to help them out because one of their staff took a wire order for the area for a dozen roses @ $19.99 because that's the cash & carry special they have. Politely explained that the cheapest deal here is $32.99 but not on incoming wires , that he should educate his staff on the difference, but I'm not losing money on any order to correct his problem. He then wants me to send a dish garden with min. 5 plants for the $19.99, whoa , we start them at $30 + del , can I be his pal and get him out of a jam, sorry but no , then I got dressed down for being miserable , unfriendly , etc. This jerk has nerve , but no order filled here. I wonder if I call him will he do a dozen roses delivered in Toronto for us for $19.99.

Some people are just too dumb to be in business; obviously the shop owner was even more stupid than his staff member since he knew what he was asking you to do; also a pathetic human being for dressing you down for not kissing his butt. It's too bad stupidity isn't painful, always! Can you imagine what he would have told his friends had YOU accepted his order!

I'm curious if he can't read your codification in the TF directory. I bet if you called or sent him a order for that value, he'd be requiring MORE MONEY.... $19.99 Jeesh, what did he think you are Proflowers.junk He should have paid you the value you needed to fill the order, and then educate his staff by making them pay him the difference, or made it up elsewhere.

One of the more vocal posters over on floristboard kept sending me orders at M-day for way under even the SRP in the book. I kept sending him asks for more money and he would not respond, so I would send a reject. Then on M-day one of his people call me and ask if there is anyway that I can fill these orders, that they have been trying to get them filled for a week but no one would take them. I was'nt very nice by that point and I asked her if she really thought anyone would take an order for $20 less than the book price on it including delivery. Her response was "well that's what we sell it for here"

Sheesh!

I'm sure she never did get that filled....

Hmm, sounds like 800Flowers who sends order no second choices, so you send an ask for second choice, they cancel and then resends order to me. Next message states "Can't you people read?".........both orders cancelled. Thank goodness.
