This was a pretty good one...The two places I fail are separating what I have to gain from what they have to gain and looking at both with those in mind...and the questioning the data, especially when I don't know enough about the data to begin with...on a few sales calls, I have caught the slaes man back peddaling when I did question pretty easy stuff and ran fast, let them know they were full of it and didn't feel bad one bit...My BS meter gets better the more I learn and I even have started to question things I don't understand, just to see if they can intellegently explain things or if I get propaganda instead of a real explanation, this is a warning sign to me that this person in front of me could be selling ads or widgets and doesn't neccessarily know one thing about the product he is selling, which concerns me to the point of not buying also...
