ugh...I have a REALLY bad sinus infection and it's not fun....I don't need this right now I have to pack, I've got to sort....

:wallhead:

I feel like poopie......

Ugghhh, sinus infections are awful. I never had one in my life until I had the triplets. Then in a year's time I had about 10 infections. Turns out they weren't really going away, so a smart doctor finally let me take the meds for 15 days instead of 10.

Anyway, I hope you're on antibiotics, and will be feeling better in a day or two. Have you tried a decongestant to reduce some of the pressure in your sinuses? And what about a warm towel put on your cheeks? That seems to help me sometimes, at least temporarily.

yeah I've been doing the warm towel, taking the anti- for 2 days now and a decongestant. It's really bad! Yeah it seems like I get them more now ever since I had the twins...maybe my body still hasn't fully recovered from the damage they did to me??
It was so bad yesterday I felt like ripping my face off!

warm towel under the heating pad. (after work of course :) )

knock on wood it's been a couple years since I've had a bad one. but I feel for you!

Oh Aileen i feel your pain, i get sinusitus every November for 2-3 weeks and it lingers like mad, i dont know if you can get sudafed over there but if you can try it in between your antibiotics. This is going to sound mad now but try to sneeze as well as this will unblock them a little and give you a few minutes respite, its your body's way of solving it naturally.

When i get it, my face aches (yes i am a face ache lol) all the way to my jaw and my teeth. Keep on with the tabs it will go.

We can no longer get sudafed.....in it's original formula.....as the druggies have a way to use the medicine to make drugs.....Now we have a type of sudafed that is nowhere near the effectiveness it used to be.

Now, Aileen......My Mom and I were friends with a lady who worked as a nurse for many years.....and she told us somethin that we use to this day. In most cases, Over the counter medications are 1/2 the strength you would get in a doctor's prescription. If the OTC medicine say to take two pills, take four - THen you are equal to the level of strength prescribed by doctors ( Unless the medicine is ADVERTISED as prescription strength )

Thanks rick, I do recall hearing something like that. Well it's subsided a bit to where I don't want to rip my face off anymore.

Palms, That's how I felt...it was in my ear, my jaw, my teeth. UGH!
