Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails at the PNC Center in New Jersey. I've been a fan of nin since 1989 so it was a thrill to meet Trent. Attached is a group picture of the meet & greet. I'm the blonde with straight hair in the front with black capris. We were even treated to sit in on the sound check. NIN did four songs. It was like having a private concert!!! I was so excited to meet him I just had to share with my fc friends.

Kewl. I always thought he seemed like he'd be a nice person even tho his lyrics/music are dark. Soooo, did you have much interaction w/him? We need details! 
Trent was signing autographs, he signed my 1994 Rolling Stone Mag. with him on the cover. He was amuzed because he looks so different now. After the picture I asked Trent if I could have a hug...and he did!!! I was hoping he would cop a feel but no such luck (I should have)!!! He smelled nice too...
Bloomz...I saw that show too in Jersey. First time I saw NIN live and been seeing them live ever since.

That's pretty awesome. I saw NIN and Alice In Chains last summer, very cool.

The opening band was Street Sweeper Social Club. The guitar player is Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. They were fabulous...Morello is an amazing guitar player and they blew Janes Addiction away. Their cd was released this week. I need to download it tonight.

I can't remember what town they live in (have to check address book when I get home). My aunt was born and rasied in Brooklyn NY. One day packed up and left for Australia. Came back when my grandmother died, I was about 3. Never came back to the states....Every family has one....

Unfortunately I was only introduced to their music a couple of years ago.
I'm just spewing I didn't get to see Jane's on this tour, none of my friends wanted to fork out the ticket price.
Daz, man, don't remind me that head like a hole is 20 years old. So much great music from the late eighties/early nineties. Not like the stuff the kids listen to these days, all that hippity hoppity music, you can't even hear the lyrics, I don't know what they see in it, it'll never last.
