I have to say, we have come a long way baby!

But I do notice something that stands out to me, there is lots of websites mentioned in the posts but not a good list of the shop names to DNF. The real trick in this game is to stop from filling the DOG orders and the only way to do that is to know who the shop names are the they are sending them under. Early in the thread some of you longer members may have gotten the list I created. Guess what, its changed dramaticly, partly from our work here, partly from getting the word out to DNF, and even some due to the economics of the business model. Here is my suggestion. Many of us have DNF lists, most will have the most egregious on them, but no one will have them all. Heck, they are still cropping up! I would like to have a up to date list, I have gone over mine and have been a little less strident in who gets on it, (your welcome JB) and have a few new ones. I would like to get several lists to compile, review, maybe those who submit a list could have a discussion group to make sure that we don't paint marketers with a DOG label, and make a updated list available to the membership. I know Mark has a good base with the FD site list and if anyone else has one please email it to me at [email protected]

I would like to get all the newer members up to speed on this issue and expand the number of shops who say "If your ad (or site) says you deliver to my town, deliver it yourself!"

This is an education opportunity and I think fits in well with some recent threads and posts.

Thanks, I hope this gets some response.

Funny, but I've thought of an excel sheet or some kind of spread sheet, with shop names, code #'s, towns, and then columns for comments, like "known skimmers" "poor work" etc etc ..... The nice thing about a sheet like that is that it's sort-able by name, city & state, or whatever parameters you set up. In my spare time some day...... :(

If Boss has kept the list up to date on Floristdetective, you can change the font and print out his list... (I have done this before)..
Oh and Boss?? If it isn't up to date.... could you look at it :blowkiss:
cause I'd like to use it as a reference for a "business" meeting with some friends....

I already have it!

I am just looking for some input to update it. Apparently there isn't much interest in getting a new list. It sounds like a lot of people are no longer filling for OG's but how do you know if your list isn't complete and up to date?
All I'm asking is for input, if no one responds maybe I'll just post mine and let the chips fall.

did you write them all down from that thread??:wide:

Ah-hah! Terrific start. thanks Rhonda, and Bossman &other contributors for putting it out there (the list that is :>).

OK, Here is my current list of OG's

Maybe this will help get the ball rolling. I am attaching my list of OG's that I do not fill for. Please note there are a few new ones that I don't know how they accessing the wire services. Any help would be appreciated!

If you find your name on this list, shame on you. Go start your own forum of how to ruin the flower industry!

One option is you can upload it onto Google Docs like this: Order Gatherers
You can do it through gmail, once you download the excel document you can view and edit.

Feedback requested!!

I did not put this list out just to have it downloaded, I want your current info if it differs with mine.

Lets get as much input on this as we can. The more we know the better.

Thanks,
Keith

Much easier for Rhonda to be able to compare to what she has if she prints it, converting it to a pdf for her will allow her to be able to do that.

A couple updates:

Pink Lotus Florist is the same company as E-Florist-Inc.com. They go by International Florist of Vancouver, BC in TF. Not sure how the orders show up through FTD.

FloristExpress.net - From You Flowers

FTDFloristsOnline.com/Flowers (the free delivery guys) Flowers, Cambridge, MA

Some of the OGs use FSI, like Red Lily (cheapflowers.com) and Orios (Flora2000.com) and Who Sent Flowers/Flowerdelphia.

Still a mystery - who is Cindy Florist (although I haven't seen them around lately)?

I do believe that the "Cindy" is actually "Cinda Florist" (our lovingly sweet friend?) It was once that........for sure
