i just want to brag for a minute...

my daughter, Jodi Suzio, and my son-in-law, Greg Suzio, entered and finished the Detroit Marathon yesterday running the entire 26+ mile race....despite having personal distance bests of 13 miles for Jodi and 18 miles for Greg before the event.
i guess that shows that if you want something bad enough....you can rise to the occasion and do anything you care to in life.
they received no running knowledge or training from me...however i did keep them focused by having a cold case of beer at the finish line...
they remain....

I just compared that story to me just doing 5 minutes on my excercise bike and hoping that it will dispell the macdonalds i ate yesterday. I clearly am not that impressive.

You must be proud...I can't fathom that hard work..My daughter in law did the disney run, then went out dancing...I went to the room, gargled with honey from yelling her on so much and collapsed at 9pm....it is tough being old as dirt!
