Yay you! I think most of my brides are very normal, and the budgets ... well lately we've had some really small budgets. But it's all good, because it all pays the rent!

I think they are all BUZERK!! Just this past week.. Had a bride send me photos of her and the flowers. wrote me a e-mail saying thank you and the flowers were lovely! I go to my wedding wire acct.(they send you a update if you have a customer that has wrote a review about your service ) and the same bride has wrote a review about me saying"flowers were the wrong color,mens flowers fell apart,and I charge to much!!! gave me a 2.9 out of a 5!! good God.. I give up~:ssmoke

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME TODAY!! Ruined my whole day, because, yes,
it really got to me. The day of the wedding the bride loved , loved , loved me and
my flowers.
Then I get this review and she tells the world the centers were not what she expected. I looked up her order. She spent ten dollars on each, rented vases, two
out of season, light pink tulips in a layer of rocks, inside a cylinder. Very cool for
a bride with no money for centers. She saw an exact photo. What DID she expect?
This review was written 6 months after her wedding. Really upset me. !!!!!

Can you not rebuke the messages being sent there? If that was a rampant thing, I wouldn't bother to be a part of it.
Of course, it would be a he said/she said, but you could scan and print with omissions the order sheet.

Who sits around at Christmas writing reviews of their wedding vendors
from 6 months ago? Shouldn't they be over it and onto grown up life
by now?
Why tell your vendor how great they think you are and then turn wacko
online?

After Tracy posted a while ago about wedding wire, I searched their site for my store (not an easy task). I found several positive reviews, both written months after the wedding. Today I found another, written this month, three years after the wedding. These girls just keep the process alive one way or another.

If you have mostly positive reivews, I wouldn't worry too much about one not so positive, but sometimes posting a general and professional rebuttal of the complaint, with a request for them to contact you in person for resolution, is a very good idea. It lets potential brides know you care about your reputation, and are willing to work our potential problems.

Marigold, Tracy you are right, we do remember the crackpots more. I did 75 weddings last year and my last one has decided to start a hate campaign against me. It drives you mad when you know that you pleased most of the people most of the time.

This campaign will be stopped though as the little madams husband plays professional rugby for a town nearby and her behaviour i am sure is not becoming of that of a rugby player's wife. I shall be contacting the stadium to "have a word in her ear".

Lets all hope for more of these normal ones that i am sure we all have most of, i know i do. Saying that, i will just take any to get through 2009 i think. Companies are going down by the minute here.

I really for the most part have wonderful brides! I am not sure why we let the ass#$%^ brides make us upset. I think I will be more focused on the nice brides how grateful most can be. I have a bridal show next weekend I am looking forward too.. :ssmoke
