There is no one down town here in this small town and its starting to snow and blow again.
I think I might close early today.

But I would hate to miss a customer who tries to get in!

The Travel agent i share a building with didn't come in today. She is 15 mins out of town and said its blowing too hard to try it.

I am just going to del the funeral work i have and putter a bit in the back room then i'll head home.

GO HOME as soon as you deliver your funeral flowers. It's not worth it for your safety. I hate to close to but on occasion we all have to. So go home and put your feet up, you have lots to do soon :)

Here in Indianapolis, we are part of a delivery pool and the conditions were so terrible we made no deliveries on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today, it snowed 4-5 inches (weatherman predicted 1-3) on top of the ice. So side streets SUCK to say the least. Inch of ice, 4 inches of snow, not good.

We actually keep getting customers stuck in our lot. Wednesday we had 2 USPS trucks get stuck. Today we had a customer who for some reason didn't want to park where in the area we had shoveled out, so we had to hook up a tow strap and yank him out of our lot. Even our plow guys got stuck. They showed up to plow and he got his 4W drive truck stuck. Haha, they wouldn't blame it on anything but the 'blade being stuck'. BUT when the other 4W drive truck came to try to tow him out, his truck wasn't moving in our lot either. So much for 4W drive being invincible. So yeah, we will be happy when Mother Nature stops being pissed off.
