I need help with

Paint. Does anyone know how to take off paint off linolium flooring????
Almost done the upstair, I think I should be finish by the end of the long weekend. Than flooring goes in and trim. Still have to put thing together so I am looking at Mid sept. until everything is done, I hope.
Target for moving is Sept. 27.

How long has the paint been on the floor?

Is it Latex or Oil based paint?

Are we talking about a major spill (slop job) or just a few small splatters?

Is the floor new or is it an old floor that has been waxed before?

latex, spots here and there, new floor, waxed, some major spot by trim.

If the paint is from the last day or so I would place a wet rag soaked in dish washer detergent (not liquid detergent) on the spots for a 1/2 hour or so, then take a pot scrubber (plastic type) to the area, you can also use extra fine steel wool but be careful not to remove the finish on the floor. Happy scrubbing and good luck!

Plant Shine and a plastic scrubber has worked as well. Or try a plastic spatula like you would when scraping a grill. Have used a razor blade as well (carefuly) I'm an origional dip and drip painter myself.

Goof-off! Where has he been hiding all these years. Would have made my life alot easier if I knew where he was. Nice to know someone found his hiding place
