Just in case anyone uses IAM'S for their pets (cats or dogs) please be aware of the following information.
A client of mine alerted me to this and asked that I pass it on to as many people as possible.

Hi Victoria,
Just learned that ALL Iam's dry pet food is being recalled; recent feline renal failure being attributed to trace salmonella being found in Iam's food. As all their food is processed in the same plant, ALL their food products are being recalled and recommendations made to discard any food on hand. Also strong recommendations for thorough hand cleansing if handling this food.
I thought you should know as you care for so many pets . . . .there may be more info on-line; I just haven't checked that out yet. Apparently the canned version of their food is fine; although I don't know if I would take that risk it if using it . . . .
