Ideas for a Yankee themed casket,PLEASE

[Knife's Wife]

A very good friend of mine lost her husband to a valiant fight against cancer.

She just called me to do a casket spray, a peice from the children and one from the grandchildren.

He was a huge Yankee Fan and would like a Casket spray to have a Yankee theme.

I am having a hard time even typing this post, and thinking clearly. Any sugguestions would be wonderful.

Casket will be blue and silver.

You could do a smaller version of this and put it in the middle of the casket spray, then accent with white flowers and limonium. Use blue ribbons.

Add in a Yankees jersey , hat, and maybe a bat and ball. It may sound kind of corny to some people, but the more personalized, the more comfort it gives the family. Ask if he had his own jersey and hat you could use.

I did this one awhile ago for a baseball coach. They have "Yankee" baseball and bat souveniors. Just thought a visual would help. My sympathies to you....
