fall in the forest (Air Canada Centre) Monday night, will they make a sound?
 
The only sound I'm hearing right now is the swish of golf clubs as Cujo and Koivu go head to head :)
 
Never mind swingin the clubs....

the Leafs played a TERRIBLE game, and deserved what they got!!
Domi still has some learning to do.....get mad, and channel that anger towards scoring and not the stupid on ice stuff!!
TO had their chances...TWO posts and a crossbar, BUT, when the frustration set in, Philly KILLED them....

Toronto's lack of size and grit on the blue line has killed them , other than Eddie stealing a couple of games for them it would have been over in 4, for such a fuss over the trade for Nolan , he should be listed as MIA, he ain't done a thing and can someone please explain what the hell happened with Shane Corson , he didn't resign on his own accord .
 
How many periods of Hockey do da Leafs need?

Dang man, doulble overtime games will sure take all the petro out of the team..even Domi is swinging like a girl!
 
I think they need at least 10 games. I think tonight they will play (period wise) 9 games. Whatever it takes to get the job done. :)

Gary Bettman will have fits if a Canadian team makes it into the finals, as his t.v. revenues will fall.

So tell me, who here likes Don Cherry?

I think he got fed up, something like Cujo did last year. The new ownership of the Leafs need to get rid of the triple layers of management to start with, and buy out the teachers union as they are there more for the investment than the sport.

That's my 5cents on the subject. :)
 
I'd say you're RIGHT ON Peter....

Shane was one of the blood and guts guys of the Leafs, and to sit him out, would be the same as trying to shut ME UP!!
It takes a LONG TIME for some guys to get the message, BUT, ONCE gotten, it's time to leave and move on!!
Shane WILL LAND on his skates...the Leafs WILL LAND on the golf course...and this bloody multi layered pyramid ownership is and will be the death of one of the MOST STORIED
FRANCHISES...in history!!

Here's to Ottawa vs Vancouver (game's not over yet) for Lord Stanley's Silver Cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that heads in TO will start to deflate I guess Spring will come (except in TO where it's supposed to snow!) Rock on..............

I totally agree on the blood and guts, that's the type of player a team needs, in fact a whole team is needed like that. Well no one wants you to shut up Mike, keep on telling it like it is.

Shane has his KEWL business to keep him busy, and no doubt lots of other things.

Should be a interesting summer, and lots of changes in Leaf Land.

Perhaps we'll all be headed to Ottawa for the parade and lunch!

Unfortunately you keep filling the seats and allowing them to makes gobs of money off your backs , they have no incentive to go all out and win a CUP. As long as they are very , very profitable they ain't going to win squat. Look at your Blue Jays and what happened after they won and Labatts decided not to subsidize them any more, they have sunk so low that the Expos are looking down on them. Remember Harold Ballard when he made a fortune off the Leafs and turned them into a laughing stock for 20 years.
