I can almost relate. I went to the service station this morning to get gas. Went in to pay, came out and my gas cap door was frozen shut! Had to get hot water, pour over it so that I could lift the lever and open the door.

Now here's is a bad day! A friend of my daughter got married yesterday. We were in the middle of a bad ice storm in Iowa . Only 25 people could make it to the wedding. Even her grandparents got stranded. The bride & groom both got the flu right after the ceremony & couldn't go to their own reception in a neighboring town. 150 of their guests were stranded in the reception town, I didn't hear how many made it to that. The unused food was given to the homeless shelters. What a way to start a marriage, & they are such nice kids. They will certainly have stories to tell.
