What did the competition entail? Designer's Choice? Theme? Surprise Package?

Thanks so much for all of the congrats. I'm still sort of in shock over the whole thing. Can't wait to represent Illinois at the Southern Retail Florist Assoc. and National Designer of the year contests later this year

I hope Amy will chime in once she gets back online. I think she's still on cloud nine right now.

Yes, the competition was a sympathy piece, a bridal bouquet, and a surprise package. The surprise package was entitled passion for purple.

She did a great job. And if they handed out an award for being a nice person, she'd get one of those too.

It was a great show this weekend. I'll post more pictures on the other thread as I get them sorted.

Competition was sympathy, bridal boquet, and surprise package. Placed 1st in surprise package and 2nd in sympathy. The total score of all three catagories is then added together. Will post photos when I get them developed (yes, I still use film).
