Greetings all

Sorry for lack of chat but not only head down in some new projects and struggling time wise but have just acquired new dog which is taking up what little time is left.

However just to say I am coming into New York on August 14th to meet up with the Metz crew and will be in town over the weekend before heading down to Atlantic City and then back to NYC before flying back on 20th

If anyone is near or has recommendations of shops I should go to please let me know.

If it's the former then I'd love to meet you and buy you a drink, if it's the latter I'd love to hear from you.

Martin Vered of Metz is sorting out my itinerary but apparently we leave NY Monday evening to get, I guess to AC and then leave Tuesday night. Not sure what that means in terms of overnight location as my geographical knowledge of the States is woefully bad. Will check it out.

A Monday evening might be difficult for everyone, but let us know you're schedule. If you can arrange to be in AC on Sat or Sun that might be better. But it depends what your host has planned for you.

Carrie when you know when you're going to be where, I'd love to meet you for a drink (or 4) in or near Atlantic City. We're close by, so we're not limited on days - whenever.

Don't think that's going to work as I have people to see in NY hence early arrival before heading to AC.

It's prob time to organise another readers trip over to AIFD Symposium - 2010. I took a load of readers to the one in Orlando years ago and then again Boston and it was SUCH fun. Brilliant floristry and amazing florists. That's why Alan Beck - who you may remember we had at Florist Event - became my American brother.
 
I'm in for a night in AC. Pretty flexible on the days. We are due for a fno anyway. Let us know your schedule when you have it.

OK schedule as follows

14th arrive New York mid afternoon
15th in town
16th in town
My only essentials for New York are a trip to A&F for daughters and one dinner with client.
17th with Metz all day and travelling down to AC for overnight stay
18th travelling back to NY late I'm thinking
19th New York all day - poss client dinner
20th - fly home

Which flower shops should I be looking at in NYC - I'm stayng at the Alex but can get cabs/subway and if totally lost will ask a policeman. All and any suggestions welcome and if anyone is around let me know as AC leg may not pan out methinks

Carrie - you'll drive right past my exit on the parkway if you do head to AC - we're exit 67 and I'm 2 miles from the exit. Love to see you if you can stop!
