Got out of work at 5 tonight and it was still "light" out. The short days are becoming part of the past.......hooray. Now if we can only get out of the below 0 nights and up to 20 degree days, I'll be much happier.
Oh and yes, my designer granddaughter (age 3) wanted to watch one of J's dvds tonight at the house. So sad that my PC at home isn't a dvd player. She was bummed. She doesn't talk much which is why she now has "shop days" with Nanny to expose her to more verbage and personal interaction (which is working by the way) but she sure could say "Nanny, watch J computer" Thanks J.
If you ever come back to Maine, I'm taking the kid with me to the show!

I was thinking the very same thing yesterday as I parked my car ... I thought the clock was wrong! Sure seems to have gone by quicker than usual, those short days. Even though the temps have been colder here lately, the sign of the sun at 5pm is encouraging to me also!

Its funny you all should be saying this. This was the higlight of my day yesterday. I was not feeling well all day. My designs sucked. I was cleaning shop and doing Valentine displays. When I left at 5, I was pleasently surprised at how light it was. I was at that moment very very happy. I still went ti bed at 8:10 but I did feel alive for the ride home...
