Does anyone know anything about imprinting rose petals? I've had a request from a wedding coordinator. Hmmm....

Thanks for any help. I need to get back with her early this week.

They showed up on my FTD website last year. They are delivered by FedEx.
I haven't seen them in person. I'm guessing they put some adhesive on the rose petal and add the gold leaf. Not sure. But they are expensive.

Yes, I got them last year for a customer that saw them on ftd.com and did not want them delivered in a box from FedEx to his wife's job. They are expensive about I think if I remember right 5 bucks a pop! I was really disappointed in knowing I could of done the same thing for cheaper.....:hammer:

What it is , packed and wrapped individually of 24 roses a box. They use freedoms and have gold ink stamped on them. The stamp that says I love you or whatever you want. They then only stamp one petal, this year I am doing it on both sides of rose. This was a big hot seller last year and I feel with already inquiries it will this year as well. I make a doz and sell 1 added rose to the arrangement for an additional $15 per rose.

You can go to the craft store to get the ink-pad along with the premade script I love You stamp, will cost you around $15 for both.

Hope this helps,
Cyndi

PS they were from the speaking roses. com company.

We have used a fine gold metallic pen and written whatever someone wants on them....for a dozen or less......If we needed hundreds, would do the stamp thing but want to impress?? Just write on a couple of petals on the top roses that you send out........

The only place I know to get them is through www.speakingroses.com
I've been there and done this one... Back in the "Days of Bob" at FTD I was part of a test of the Speaking Roses test prior to some sort of thing...they came and demo'd it and left the machine here for a a couple months.

It was NOT AS EASY as they make it look. And the other florists in the test, 10-12 of us, as far as I know sent the thing back just as I did. Once the results were in it seems Speaking Roses decided to go direct to try to recoup their investment in the design/build of the machines.

One way to go is to get your own hand stamp and do them this way. The other is to order from Speaking Roses and repackage and deliver yourself, however this is probably cost prohibitive for the consumer.
