It is with deep sorrow to let the Flowerchat World know about the passing of my friend and fellow florist Steve Sproule. Some of you may know him as Technology Salesman formerly of FTD but reciently with Bloomnet. Some may know him as a former Shop Owner of 2 stores in the NorthBay of California for many years. Steve was a true florist and befriended anyone he spoke with. I had the pleasure of working with Steve during both the old days of FTD as a florist during YOM and reciently in Floral Technology. Prayers to his wife Jenel and family. As soon as I get Funeral Info will pass on.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Hal.

I only had the pleasure of meeting him once but that was all it took. What a great guy - definitely one of the very nicest and classiest people I have met in this business.

deepest sympathies

steve was one of the industry "good guys". he never took himself too seriously. as hal indicates...we all go back to the old yo/m days. i had dinner with him a couple of years ago after a show in denver.
like i said...he was one of the good guys.
the world is a better place because you were an active participant in it.
