Lately we have been getting phone wire orders, that we later get complaints from the sender because of incorrect or missing information on the order. After investigation I found the sender did not pass or impart the information correctly or clearly. Our problem is, we get the blame for it is our word against the senders as to where the error was made. The orders are coming from new wire service members that do not use wire or electronic transmissions and I don't think they understand the system.
1. I am wondering if other wire service fillers are having the same similar problems? If so how do you handle the taking of the order?
2. As a FTD member could I take the approach not to accept any incoming orders unless it is via wire, FAX or electronic transmission, where I would have a paper trail generated by the sender?
I know we make mistakes but the last four (4) have all come as a result of phone wire orders and I am getting tired of these problem orders. They are costing me money in the corrections and I don't feel it is my place to fix someone elses mistake. :ar15 new phone members!
