Information Pages

I have decided to have information pages on my shiny new website and just wondered what you guys all put on them? I am looking for ideas really as i have only just found out what an information page is!!

No jo, apparently information pages are those that would maybe tell you about different designs and flower meanings etc. Not sure that my customers would be interested in these so was thinking of something else to go with it.

Any suggestions??

You could do key flower sending dates . Not just the usual xmas VD and MD (don't forget this would have to be updated each year). But dates like grandparents day, or Saints Days. International MD etc. I would put in Anniversary Info and even suggest particual designs for this, if you are wanting a page like this. Or do star signs with ideal displays for these dates. TF do these designs. Saying that I think most of them are naff but you get the general idea. I personally haven't bothered with this. I could do a page like this on my site if I wanted to and could do this myself but I have never felt the need. The only question I get asked is anniversaries. Or you could have the info page just totally focused on weddings. And give sound advice about want design shape colours etc are best for each dress style, then you could put links for different companies on there for cakes, photographers, bridel gown shops etc but choice companies with websites on your site and ask them to put a link on theirs.

Thanks jo, actually that is what i do in my current site with the links so yes i think thats what i will do with one of them.

I may also put some stuff on about sympathy designs and which are appropriate etc and funeral homes that i can deliver to, maybe this will help with funeral orders??

So an info page on weddings and funerals (seperate obviously).

Go to my website and look at the right side where it says Rave reviews, Our delivery areas, etc...those are info pages, if you click on our delivery areas(Havertown, Philadelphia & More) and then click on blue highlighted linked town names , it takes you to more hidden info pages...hope that helps.

And I believe he stole it from somebody else

I havn't sold any wife insurance yet, but I do get a lot of comments on it, and also made in the doghouse, wife insurance t-shirts with our name on it too

Thanks, on my old Tf site, I used to list all towns and cities on the bottom footer of every page.....it looks like crap IMO, when a customer has to see that long list of town names and zip codes on the home page and every other page...

Ryan showed me how to create hidden info pages to list all that stuff, instead of throwing it on your home page for all to see.

Yeah, I wish I could clone myself too, duanermb, so much work to do and so little time!!:tread:
