Hi, I'm Olive Tree Florist, a retail florist in Houston, TX.
I started in the floral business as a delivery driver and still
enjoy serving people after 10 years. I have my own shop and
just moved into a new location a week ago. I think all the boxes
are multiplying each time I turn my back! Look forward to
communicating with other florists.

Welcome Olive Tree.
Can you tell us a bit more about yourself and your business ?

Holy Cow, how can you move during Mother's Day Week???
Are you "wedding and event only"??
Education please...............other than "worked for a florist"?

Hello Olive tree,

Wow! A move of your shop during Mother's day, that is different. How did that all work out??

How long have you been in business??

Kathy is being modest...She not only owns Olive Tree Florist (a full serve florist), but is an active member and past president of Allied Florists of Houston (2004-2005). She also has served on many committees for TSFA.

If my memory serves me correctly, Kathy has her TMFA rating, which is the highest cerification TSFA offers.

Kathy, glad to see you have your new store open!

That is exactly the kind of information we need on new members. We need to work on getting more answers like this from other newbies. Carol Bice

Thanks MLou....
Still can't imagine moving a shop during Mother's Day week!! of any kind.
Welcome Ms. Olive Tree !!

Ryan is currently working on a default question form for new applicants. That should solve some of the information problems.

Ms. Olive Tree... don't be so modest. :) Be bold and blow your horn... it makes the voting process so much easier on us. ;)

Welcome aboard.

Thanks MaryLou for the better intro :)

welcome, Olivetree - hope you'll share as much as you gain from your memberhsip here ...
:)

sounds like you will fit in well. I started as a drivers helper! So way to ROCK!!

Check out one of Kathy's greatest industry contributions at http://www.alliedfloristsofhouston.org/events/911.htm

She chaired the AFH 911 Anniversary project ~ decorating all over Houston including city hall, the police memorial, and approx. 150 fire stations.

Truly a gigantic project and one of my favorite memories in the industry.

Love ya K ~
Renee

Very nice, Very nice
