About me:
I'm the manager and the bookeeper. I've run the business for 8 years now, and am considering upgrading the pos system for the store this year. I need some advices and infos on different systems from the users.

Hail & welcome. How did you know what information to provide? Did you read the "new member" questions?

I know that the intro questions are bugged....

I will assume that you do not design and do mostly the business end.

If that is the case, I am sure you would have some insight to some of the more struggled with business issues...

Do you also take care of the advertising and marketing plans for the business??

What POS systems are you interested in inquiring about?
 
Thank you everyone. My mother owns the shop. I've been doing basically everything including the design. I am planning to leave the shop pretty soon to continue my studying, and my sister is going to take over. This is why I am looking to get a pos system so my older employees and sister would easily take over what I am doing manually and with Quickbooks. I have checked the Dove POS and the Flowersoft.

My first question is...Do you plan on staying with TF long term???

If you question this, go with an independant POS....You will save money on CC processing and be free to leave TF if you want to...

I am looking into Visual Ticket and would like to know your experiences with it. It seems to be in the forefront of flower shop management software, but I am very new to this game. We currently use the Mercury system from FTD but plan on dropping WS's shortly. We just want to be covered properly with a system before we make the plunge. I do believe that a system independent of any WS is the way to go.
 
MAS for our shop

After checking around - MAS was the best choice for our shop and we are happy with it.
