Ivygreen you just made my day! I got such a good laugh from your post...I'd call it lavender too, but it's not found in nature. Have fun with getting that.
My take on it:
For the love of hideous color combinations! We have selected six roses that will never match the impossible to find in nature, neon lavender alstromeria, that really looks nothing like lilies, to create this horrid bouquet. When it arrives, it will not look much like the picture, because florists don't get alstromeria in this shade, and if the alstromeria is as wide open on every stem as we show here, it probably will not last the guaranteed seven days we offer on the next page. It comes with a complimentary personalized gift message, formally known as "what would you like to say on your card?" If you are lucky enough to live in a zip code with an FTD florist, you should receive a properly styled arrangement, if not be sure to push all the flowers to the front side of the vase, otherwise it may look sparse.
Just a little cranky here today.
Hmm....I think the name says it all....THEY ARE LIARS!!!!!
'Purple Passion Lily and Rose Bouquet'
1: I do not think that those roses are ever called purple....yes I know they are known to be more purple...but to mean delilah roses are always like a heavy dusty pink.
2: Alstromeria is from the lily family...I understand that...but they are not classed as lilies! Well down under anyways.
Yes my spat for the day....just other company making out that the florists are the 'culprits'.
