Is Teleflora Headhunting? 5K Bonus?

Just received a call from my FTD rep stating that Teleflora has used it's membership to collateralize and finance other business ventures (Fiji water and california citrus were mentioned). I was told to expect a call soon from my Teleflora rep. Teleflora membership is dropping and they are offering $5K bonus to their reps who are successful at getting their members to drop FTD affiliation.
Anyone else recieved this call?

TF is owned by the Resniks, who are quite wealthy and own a large number of other businesses. TF is still quite profitable, from my understanding, so the profits do benefit the parent company and can be reinvested at their discretion.

It's one "bounty", one $5K...to ONE Rep, the one that gets the most shops to drop FTD...Like that's going to amount to a large number...NOT right before Easter and MD!
