Is the Strider Team OK?

I was just watching the news and there was a tornado at the crossroads where the Strider Offices are. Just wanting to check to make sure all is well with them and our other Torontonians.

We had some severe weather here in Missuagain this afternoon and evening too... many trees snapped of 20 feet up... never saw any funnel but it was a trip....

T-town usually gets what we do several hours later...

It was pretty fierce in London around 5 or so. A tornado doesn't surprise me.

Jim and Ryan, please let us know you're okay.

Well, if the tornado hit the office, it was after I left at 6pm. That might explain why I can't log in to the office server (wahoo!! insurance payout and off to the islands!!).

I think the touch down was further north from where we are.

Anyway, we're moving the office in 10 days. Back to civilization in the 416 Hello, 16Mbit DSL (woot!!)

New office is about 5-10 min south of the current office - but about 3x bigger with more reliable utilities.

The tornado hit just north of here, and messed with the hydro & phone service for a bit (also knocking out our useless Primus DSL modem). Some businesses in the area were damaged more severely.

I am actually in more pain today than yesterday or Wednesday, but I think that is pretty normal. After the adrenaline wears off the pain kicks in. And now the insurance hassles begin... Just settled the last one from two years ago! I think I am going to become a hermit and never leave the house. Or buy a hummer. Or wrap my car in bubble wrap.
