Sam's club has called me on several occassions over the years, asking to buy baker fern, and sometimes other basics. I have always said yes, at cost, and have even dropped it off to them if we were out that way. At one point I sold them a whole case, and the girl who works there was very thankful. Once when I was shopping there she gave a stack of cooler buckets they were throwing away, and I have bought a thing or two there in a jam. No big deal.

Today she called to say they are downsizing, and they would like to donate all there oasis and extra supplies to me, and someone will drop it off if I don't mind. I don't mind at all :):):)

Well, now isn't that nice....

see we can coexist..
 
We have done the same with one of the local groceries. Yesterday, we "borrowed" helium when we realized our tank was kaput. Good neighbors!

Enjoy the windfall of generosity, and hopefully their customers as well!
 
What a happy story!! It' snice to see your generosity returned!
 
We can coexist, and they are customers. And this was still a nice bonus. Good way to end the week.
 
I was having a bad day and that just made it brighter. There is hope out there.
 
That happened to me with the Samms club in the city next to me.. They downsized and gave me the things they wouldn't need anymore, because they weren't going to sell premade florals anymore, (they got rid of their floral designer) just loose flower bouquet's.. 2 months later they did away with their floral center! Hopefully that is the next thing that happens with your Samms club!

And if not, free is always good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
