Ok here's the situation...

We get a box of assorted greens (pitto, euc (seeded and baby), ti leaves, bear grass, lily grass, ming fern and sometimes there is stuff in there that I've never seen before) from South America and I almost always get incredibly itchy after I've touched it.

But I get itchy on my face and neck :(

Not on my hands, but on my face/neck. I get so itchy that I have to put on hydrocortisone cream that works in like 10/15 minutes. It is almost like I get an itch on my face which transfers the oils to my face (from the oils on my hands)...but its weird because it doesn't happen all the time.

The other interesting tidbit is that it does not always happen after I touch the greens, but sometimes after I touch flowers (lilies or alstro). Its really weird.

So I guess my point with all of this...
Does or has anyone have the same problem? I'm not having any other "allergic" type reactions other than the itching and hives and redness.

Its really annoying too! :)

Thanks for reading and any ideas would be wonderful :)

I get this from holly and poms. The tops of my hands and neck and face get very itchy after handling these items. I have been told that it could be from pesticide used or something these plants emit as a natural insect repellant from their stems and leaves.

Occasionally from assorted products I will get those same issues - I think it is the pesticides, as it is never the same product, but mostly product from South America.

I do have allergic issues with other various plants, but no cut flower varieties.
